On March 30th, 2013, Armin van Buuren will have his A State Of Trance 600 (ASOT600) world tour touch down in New York’s Madison Square Garden. The arena will gather thousands of EDM lovers for a spectacular show with some of the world’s best DJs and talents as part of the world tour that celebrates the 600th episode of the Dutch DJ’s A State Of Trance radio show.
After weeks of anticipation, fans of the A State Of Trance (ASOT) radio show finally know where they’ll be celebrating: the world-renowned Madison Square Garden. Madison Square Garden (MSG) is home to the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, and it is also the place where legendary pop acts such as Queen, Michael Jackson and Madonna have performed. No fewer than 14,000 EDM lovers will gather for the ASOT600 worldwide spectacle on March 30th. Broadcast live across the planet, the ASOT600 show at Madison Square Garden reaches out to millions of people. A State Of Trance 600 New York will surely go down in history.
The New York show is a part of the ‘A State Of Trance 600 – The Expedition’ world tour. In February, March and April, Armin celebrates the 600th episode of his A State Of Trance radio show with a world tour bigger than he’s ever done before. The radio show, broadcast through more than 62 radio stations in 52 countries, has an average of 20 million listeners each week. Since the announcement in October, the Dutch DJ has revealed 11 dates and cities in which ‘The Expedition’ tour will take place. Seven of the editions will be broadcast live, interacting with and uniting millions of listeners from across the globe through multi-digital techniques. What a year it’s been for MOGUAI, kicking off with the release of his second full-length album ‘MPIRE’ back in January on dance music juggernaut deadmau5’s label mau5trap. This long-player contains a veritable bounty of jaw-dropping material and has produced some simply unbelievable singles, including the massive Beatport #1 ‘MPIRE’, ‘LYME (MOGUAI’s Crushed Lyme Mix)’ and also Tommy Trash’s Club Mix for their collaboration on ‘IN N’ OUT’. In addition to churning out his own works, his remixing magic is continually being enlisted by the biggest and best; he’s delivered his unique twist to singles by American Idol winner and pop superstar Kelly Clarkson, Dim Mak Records kingpin Steve Aoki, and the musical legend that is Moby – to name just a few! ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL – the world’s premier electronic music festival – is coming to CROATIA from 12th – 14th July 2013 for ULTRA EUROPE, it was announced in a press conference in Zagreb today [28th November 2012]. Taking place in the city of SPLIT (12th & 13th July) and the island of HVAR (14th July) for the very first time, organizers have also revealed the further news that ULTRA EUROPE will now be housed exclusively in Croatia for at least the next 5 years.
With over 60,000 attendees expected to descend upon Croatia for the debut edition of the annual event next Summer, ULTRA EUROPE will take place at the beautiful Poljud Stadium in SPLIT for days 1 & 2, while the 3rd and final day will see the event hop to the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort on the stunning island of HVAR – just a short ferry journey away. Performances from all 3 days will be streamed globally through UMF TV and UMF Radio.
Besides being the only European edition of the world-renowned Ultra Music Festival next year, ULTRA EUROPE will also be one of the first major events of its kind in Croatia following the country’s expected entrance into the European Union on 1st July 2013. It is also predicted that the ULTRA EUROPE festival will inject more than 20 MILLION EUROS (over 150 MILLION KUNA) into Croatia’s economy over the next 5 years, and is considered to be one of the most important investments in the Croatian tourism and entertainment industry in recent times.
