Revolving Guest Spots - 88.9FM KUCI, Irvine, CA
KUCI legend Arthur Galestian ran “Division of Hardcore Samples” on Thursday nights from 10PM-midnight PST. The show highlighted the world’s most eclectic blend of trance, progressive house, and club sounds to electronic dance music fans in Orange County, CA. DHS gained tremendous popularity through live broadcasts with industry icons such as Armin van Buuren, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Mathew Dekay, Marco Bailey, Paolo Mojo, and more.
In addition to featuring local talent, some of the many notable guests on the show included UK DJ and trance producer Lange, Anjunabeats trio Above & Beyond, star vocalist Jes, and Los Angeles legend Swedish Egil of Groove Radio International.
The show was on the air from 2003-2010. Arthur moved on from his weekly spot on KUCI to embrace emerging opportunities in radio. In 2011, he helped launched two digital dance stations on Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio: Trancid and Electric Sound Stage.
