(Las Vegas) – Today Insomniac released a diverse list of creators who will each play a part in the total transformation of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 17th annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Las Vegas. This list includes musical acts, artists and theatrical performers – all of whom are innovators in their respective fields.

Insomniac will create an enhanced music festival experience by transforming the Speedway into a fully immersive carnival adventure featuring theatrical performers, including fire twirlers, aerialists, dancers and stilt walkers. Vibrant large-scale art installations and state-of-the-art lighting and sound production will span across seven stages inside the 1,000-acre complex creating a complete audiovisual experience for festivalgoers.

Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub marks the unofficial end of summer with a bang this Labor Day Weekend, bringing back a host of top international talent to its celebrated DJ booth both inside and poolside. Above & Beyond, Avicii, Benny Benassi, 3LAU, Cedric Gervais, Hardwell, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Mat Zo and more to be announced are set to send Marquee’s state-of-the-art Funktion One sound system soaring at this series of parties in partnership with global clubbing guide DJ Mag.

Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub was just anointed one of the top spots in Rolling Stone’s “Where to Party in 2012” feature, which appears in their recent “Dance Madness” issue. Now with summer’s heat upon us, Vegas’ ultimate club continues to bring some of the best in electronic dance music to both its daytime bacchanals by the pool and explosive nighttime dance parties featuring its 40-foot LED DJ booth.

This season’s lineup includes the return of French electronic musician Madeon (named one of EDM’s next wave of hot acts by Rolling Stone), Australian reality TV stars Stafford Brothers, Swedish sweethearts Rebecca & Fiona, dubstep king 12th Planet, a DJ set from drum & bass legends Pendulum, electro house prodigy Zedd, EDM-dominating duo Zeds Dead, head bangin’ house producer Tommy Trash, and the Marquee debut of house music newcomer 3LAU.

Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas returns for a second year with a season grand opening celebration headlined by Avicii on April 21. The lavish, adults-only daytime party venue toasted a successful inaugural season in 2011 that was filled with world-class DJs, notable celebrities and marathon holiday weekend extravaganzas. In 2012 Marquee Dayclub will enhance the pool experience even further, debuting brand new production staging and highly anticipated weekly branded parties.
Avicii will welcome pool-goers to Marquee Dayclub with a special DJ set. Avicii, born Tim Bergling in Stockholm, was recently nominated for seven International Dance Music Awards, including Best Global DJ, Best Artist and Best Producer. With a Best Dance Recording GRAMMY nomination for “Sunshine” (along with David Guetta) also under his belt this year, he landed at #6 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll. His single “Le7els,” which has conquered club charts worldwide, has gone on to be featured in the Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light Platinum. 2012 has also seen this 22-year-old producer, whose prior hit singles include “Seek Bromance,” “Street Dancer” and “Fade Into Darkness,” embark on the ‘House for Hunger’ tour, raising a $1 million donation for Feeding America.
Programming throughout the season will be highlighted by Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub resident DJs encompassing the world’s premier electronic music talent, including Above & Beyond,Armin van Buuren, Arty, ATB, Benny Benassi, Cedric Gervais, Chuckie, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, Dirty South, EDX, Erick Morillo, Gabriel & Dresden, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Kaskade, Markus Schulz, Nicky Romero, Redfoo, Sander van Doorn, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and more.
Marquee Dayclub spans 22,000 square-feet of the expansive multi-level 60,000 square-foot Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub entertainment complex and boasts two pools, several bars and a gaming area. Exclusive experiences can be had in one of the eight cabanas, which feature infinity edge glass dipping pools, flat screen televisions and dedicated cocktail and food service. The ultimate day to night offering will be discovered in the exclusive bungalows dotting the perimeter of the Dayclub, complete with overnight quarters, individual pools and an open-air party deck.
Days spent dancing or basking in the sun are made complete with well thought out amenities while a specialty cocktail and food menu from Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella will fuel the party.
