Insomniac and TAO Group Team Up for EDC Week Events June 4-11

Insomniac, the producers of the Electric Daisy Carnival and TAO Group present a full week of world-class DJ programming at LAVO Nightclub at The Palazzo, Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and TAO Nightclub and Beach at The Venetian.

The joint efforts of Insomniac and TAO Group will thrill electronic dance music fans and keep them moving with highlighted events from June 4 – June 11 at the top nightclub and dayclub venues inLas Vegas.

North America’s Largest Electronic Music Festival Will Return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, June 8-10, 2012

LAS VEGAS, NV–(Marketwire – Nov 1, 2011) – Tickets for Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas, will go on sale today at noon Pacific Time. After hosting more than 230,000 amazing fans during Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas 2011, the world’s top musical and artistic talent will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) for the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) on June 8, 9 and 10, 2012.

Anticipation is high for the return of North America’s largest electronic music festival, as a special pre-sale event at Insomniac’s debut Halloween festival, Escape from Wonderland, already sold several thousand tickets to attendees on Saturday. Last year’s on sale date shattered records with more than 85,000 tickets purchased in the first 24 hours.

Three-day General Admission tickets will start at $215; three-day VIP tickets are to start at $500 each. There will be a very limited quantity of single-day tickets available at a later date.

Thievery Corporation, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, the Crystal Method, Shiny Toy Guns, STS9, Groove Armada (DJ Set) and Tortured Soul, among others, are scheduled to appear at the 2009 Electric Daisy Carnival, to be held June 26-27 at Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

The festival’s lineup will also include Benny Benassi, Eddie Halliwell, Aly & Fila, Boys Noize, Fake Blood, Computer Club, C-Town, the Upbeats, the Captain, David Guetta, Infected Mushroom, Cosmic Gate, Roger Sanchez, Andy Caldwell, DJ AM, Andy C, Friction, Daddy Earl, Conrad, DJ Hype, Sniper and Mystical Influence.

Tickets for Electric Daisy Carnival are currently available through electricdaisycarnival.com. Two-day passes cost $99, and single tickets are available for $55 (June 26) and $70 (June 27), according to the Web site.

On June 13, a separate Electric Daisy Carnival festival will be held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colo. That event will feature performances from Paul van Dyk, Infected Mushroom, James Zabiela, Michael Myers, Joaquin Bamaca, Trajikk, Jonas Tempel, Jonas Tempel, Manufactured Superstars and the Crystal Method, among others.

In addition to live music, the Los Angeles edition will also feature full-size carnival rides. Last year’s one-day Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles drew 65,000 concertgoers, according to organizers, who expect more than 100,000 people at this year’s L.A. event.

Electric Daisy Carnival in both cities is being produced by Insomniac.
