“Randall’s Island became a multiplex of temporary dance floors, with a stadium-scale stage for headliners and three tents with club-quality surround-sound systems.” —Jon Pareles, The New York Times

“Capping off a summer that saw the biggest electronic music events in U.S. history, Electric Zoo marked its third and biggest year yet.”  —Billboard.com

“The fest that began as a modest weekend event was something more, drawing crowds that were large even by music festival standards.” —The Wall Street Journal

“The three-day dance party on Randall’s Island had no shortage of new: New acts, new tracks and new grass (really!) filled the 24-acre island for 12 hours a day over Labor Day weekend… Despite the record number of attendees — over 85,000 fans showed up — Electric Zoo didn’t lose its sense of ease and comfort. Thanks to an increased number of restrooms, a variety of food vendors and the use of RFID wristband technology, which minimized entrance time, there were no lines to be found. And when you wanted to dance deep inside the tent, there was an actual dance floor and ample space to do so. When you’re talking about music marathons, these are small details that many festival producers overlook, the small details that can turn a great event into an exceptional one. ” —Huffington Post

“While it certainly is a spectacle, Electric Zoo was probably the happiest place on earth last weekend.” —Village Voice

“Electric Zoo [2011] was sick!  The crowd was unbelievable and brought an incredible energy to the city.” —Tiësto

“I felt like playing Electric Zoo [2011] advanced me as an artist.” —Porter Robinson

Out April 2

Fresh off their wildly successful Group Therapy Miami party, Above & Beyond has released the Love Is Not Enough EP featuring Zoë Johnston, now available worldwide.

An elegant, melodic, progressive builder with stirring strings and poignant vocals from Zoë Johnston, “Love Is Not Enough” perfectly captures the bittersweet beauty of an intense, but ultimately unsuccessful relationship. The track is the latest single from Above & Beyond’s critically acclaimed Group Therapy album, which Mixmag deemed the “artist album of the year” for 2011.

‘Love Is Not Enough’ is a song from the heart about the challenges in a relationship that can arise outside of a core feeling of love for someone. Love is not enough to be with someone – a relationship needs to work day to day.” says Jono Grant of Above & Beyond.

Adding some stadium-sized energy to the EP is the huge, groove-fueled Above & Beyond Club Mix in all its riff-driven glory. It has received huge responses on the trio’s recent North America tour, as well as at the Group Therapy Miami event.

The North America version of the Love Is Not Enough EP, out on Ultra Music, also includes the Andrew Bayer & James Grant remix of Above & Beyond’s “Prelude.”

Further packages will be released next week on Monday, April 2, including remixes from US dance heavyweight Kaskade, the prolific Mat Zo under his drum & bass guise MRZO, rising stars Maor Levi & Bluestone and bass/electronica producer Syknro.

Having sold out the Hollywood Palladium in record time last year, Above & Beyond will return Los Angeles for Group Therapy LA with three gigs at the prestigious Shrine Auditorium on May 17, 18 & 19. Tickets have already sold out for the May 18 & 19, but you can get tickets for Thursday show HERE.

As well as appear and perform at special engagements throughout the week.

Recently landing on the MTV’s Buzzworthy Top 5 Must Hear Pop Songs of the Week for her incredible collaboration with Robbie Rivera “Turn It Around,” JES promises explosive performances throughout the Festival.

In addition to her current single “It’s Too Late,” Jes has released “Can’t Stop,” off her mix album Unleash The Beat, collaborating with acclaimed German DJ Ronski Speed for the song, which has hits the airwaves with a spectacular video and slamming remix package.

JES’ creativity and artistic expression are never ending, she has launched a monthly radio mix show syndicated to over 20 popular EDM stations allowing fans and listeners to connect with her with access to her personal music vault. The “Unleash The Beat” Mix Show is a monthly collection of JES tracks and mashups and features her pick of EDM’s best upcoming releases. The first show (released in January) featured exclusive material including “Show Me So Close,” JES’ now famous mashup featuring one of Calvin Harris’ recent hit “Feels So Close”. Episode #2 is packed with new JES releases and hits from Afro Jack, Tommy Trash and others. It also features a hot new Mashup from JES’ dj lab featuring Avicii.

As the #1 female vocalist in electronic music with GRAMMY Award Nominated collaborations, she is showcased on smash hits by Tiësto, BT, Armin Van Buuren and more, as well as celebrated for her innovative solo albums including her newest releases High Glow and her mix album “Unleash the Beat.”
